Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical psychologist with more than a decade of experience in correctional psychology, I have expertise in working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams, conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, and providing short and long-term evidence-based psychotherapy. I have worked with a variety of individuals, including those with substance use disorders, severe mental illness, and significant trauma histories. I am skilled in crisis intervention and helping clients build sound coping strategies to support resilience and overall wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in evidence-based practices, particularly cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). I also rely on other techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapies. I have experience working with both individuals and groups. Sessions are collaborative - You are the expert on you.

What you can expect from me

Our sessions will focus on understanding your treatment goals/motivation for treatment, then empowering/supporting you to make decisions to promote resiliency and wellness in a manner which effectively helps you attain those goals.
