Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with about 15 years of experience supporting individuals, youth, couples, and families through emotional and psychological challenges. My career began in school settings, where I spent over a decade as a school social worker — an experience that deepened my ability to meet people where they are and understand the full context of someone's life. I specialize in working with young men and adult men navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the everyday pressures that can quietly wear you down. My approach is grounded in evidence-based clinical practice while also honoring the values and beliefs that matter most to you — including, for those who desire it, the integration of Biblical principles and a Christian worldview.

My approach to therapy

I believe healing happens when we slow down and pay attention to patterns, to pain points, and to the strengths that already exist within you. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and Humanistic frameworks, tailoring my methods to each person's unique needs and goals. For clients who are open to it, I thoughtfully weave in Christian counseling principles in a way that complements clinical best practices. Whether you're working through anxiety, processing trauma, or searching for greater purpose and identity, I meet you with both professional rigor and genuine care.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation a chance for me to understand what's bringing you in, and for you to get a sense of whether working together feels right. I'll ask about your history and what you're hoping to achieve, but there's no pressure to share anything before you're ready. Many men come in carrying the weight of managing everything on their own; this is a space where you don't have to. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling genuinely heard and with a clearer sense of a path forward.
