Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Jonathan Beer, and I am a Doctor of Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida. I have eight years of Social Work experience, in Psychotherapy and counseling. I have a Trauma-Informed Care background and will strive to form an alliance with you, working collaboratively to achieve your goals. I am fluent in English and Hebrew (native speaker).

A bit about my approach to therapy

Safety and trust are my priorities, when we feel safe we can begin a healing process. I want to collaborate with you, working together, we will create goals and objectives and find ways to achieve them. I have experience working with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative therapy and am EMDR trained. I am also training in IMAGO relationship therapy which is a great way to improve communication in relationships.

What you can expect from our first session

I believe that my job is to help recognize and find what works best for you. I use modalities like CBT, EMDR and IMAGO relationship therapy to help you reach your objectives and goals.
