Great to meet you!

Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and finding the right fit matters. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself, explore what's keeping you stuck, and work toward meaningful change.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor who works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in helping people navigate addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment. I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to take steps toward the life they want to live.

As a husband, father, and business owner, I understand many of the real-world pressures people face while balancing work, family, relationships, and personal well-being. Clients often describe me as genuine, approachable, and direct. I strive to build strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, honesty, and collaboration.

I also offer faith-sensitive counseling for those who wish to incorporate Jewish values and traditions into treatment, while welcoming clients from all backgrounds and beliefs.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. I primarily draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care.

Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I help clients understand the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we identify patterns, build coping skills, and create realistic goals that align with your values and priorities.

A significant part of my practice focuses on addiction and recovery. I understand that change is rarely a straight path, and I work with clients from a place of compassion, accountability, and hope. Whether you're working through substance use, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or life stressors, my goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, psychological flexibility, and confidence in your ability to navigate challenges.

I believe therapy should be both supportive and productive. While I provide empathy and understanding, I also encourage clients to challenge unhelpful patterns and take meaningful action toward lasting change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine whether we are a good fit. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where you can openly share your concerns, experiences, and goals without feeling judged or pressured.

We will discuss what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, relevant personal history, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. I may ask questions about your relationships, family background, mental health history, substance use, work, and other areas that help me better understand your situation.

The first session is not about having all the answers. It is about gaining clarity, identifying priorities, and beginning to develop a plan for moving forward. Together, we will explore your strengths, discuss potential treatment goals, and outline an approach that feels right for you.

Most clients leave the first session with a better understanding of their challenges, a sense of direction, and hope that meaningful change is possible. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and confident about the next steps in your therapeutic journey.
