Great to meet you!

I graduated from The University of Texas with my Master’s degree in Counseling in 2013. I became fully licensed in June 2017. I have over 13 years of working in community mental health. I have background in individual counseling, facilitating groups, diagnostic assessment, crisis intervention, and case management. I believe my experiences have helped to give me a more well-rounded approach to serving my clients.

My approach to therapy

I primarily utilize a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused, and person-centered therapeutic modalities.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for you to feel heard, understood, and comfortable beginning the therapeutic process. Together, we will explore what brought you to therapy, identify the concerns that are most important to you, and begin developing goals that fit your needs and values.

By the end of our first session, you can expect to have:

  • • A clearer understanding of what you would like to work on in therapy
  • • An initial sense of direction for your treatment
  • • A safe and supportive space to discuss your concerns without judgment
  • • A better understanding of how therapy may help you
  • • One or more practical strategies you can begin using between sessions
  • • A collaborative plan for moving forward
