Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about working with individuals and families from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds. I have experience supporting clients across a wide range of settings, including schools, community mental health, and work with individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. My clinical experience includes helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and stress related to high-demand roles such as first responders.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and evidence-based, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe people already possess the strengths needed for change, and my role is to help clients uncover those strengths, develop practical skills, and move toward lives that are more aligned with their values. I strive to create a collaborative, supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of meaningful growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know what brought you to therapy, what you’re currently struggling with, and what you hope to gain from counseling. I’ll ask thoughtful questions about your experiences, stressors, strengths, and background, while also making space for anything you feel is most important to share. There is no pressure to “tell everything” right away—we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

You can also expect education and clarity. I often explain how therapy works, discuss possible patterns that may be showing up in your life, and begin identifying practical goals. My style is active and engaging, and when appropriate, I may introduce simple tools or coping strategies you can begin using right away.

Most importantly, the first session is about building a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and hopeful, with a clearer sense of direction and a plan for how we’ll work together moving forward.
