Great to meet you!
I work with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or frustrated by patterns they have been unable to change on their own. Many of my clients come to therapy carrying trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction or recovery concerns, anger, shame, relationship struggles, grief, or major life transitions.
My style is warm, direct, practical, and collaborative. I do not believe therapy should feel like someone simply talking at you or giving you a list of things you “should” do. I focus on building trust, understanding the deeper patterns behind what you are experiencing, and helping you develop tools that actually fit your life.
Clients and families have told me that our work has helped create breakthroughs, sometimes after previous attempts at therapy left them feeling discouraged or stuck. I have also been told that my ability to connect with people, build trust, and reach loved ones who have been difficult to engage has been a blessing.
My clinical approach is trauma-informed and draws from NARM, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I also offer faith-integrated counseling for clients who want spirituality to be part of their work.
I especially enjoy working with men and women, helping professionals, people in recovery, and anyone trying to rebuild their identity, relationships, confidence, or sense of purpose after a difficult season.
You do not have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and begin making meaningful changes without judgment or shame.
