Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jonathan! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of settings, including outpatient mental health, hospital-based behavioral health, and education. My experience includes helping individuals work through anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, and major life transitions. I recognize that everyone's experiences and challenges are different, and I believe therapy should reflect that. Whether you're navigating a difficult chapter in life or simply working toward becoming a healthier, more confident, and secure version of yourself, my goal is to provide a supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a space where you can have honest conversations, feel genuinely heard, and work toward becoming the version of yourself you want to be. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and tailored to each person's individual needs. I place a strong emphasis on helping clients understand not only what they're experiencing, but also why certain thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behavior continue to show up in their lives. Together, we work on developing practical strategies, building confidence, and making intentional changes that extend beyond our therapy sessions. I believe meaningful growth happens when increased self-awareness is accompanied by actions that reflect the person you're working to become.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, talk about what brought you to therapy, and begin exploring what you'd like to accomplish. I understand that opening up to someone you've just met can feel uncomfortable, and I don't expect you to have all the answers or even know where to begin. We'll spend some time discussing your experiences, any challenges you may be facing, and what you're hoping to gain from therapy. I'll ask questions along the way to better understand your needs, but there's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and reassured that we're working together toward goals that are meaningful to you.
