Great to meet you!

Welcome! If you are looking for someone to just nod along while you vent forever, I might not be your guy. My name is Jonathan Diamond, LMHC, and I believe that even when life is a mess, therapy doesn't have to be stiff or boring. I bring a super direct, practical, and humor-forward approach to mental health, helping you cut through the noise and get straight to what actually works.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in drowning you in clinical jargon or passive nods. Instead, our sessions will feel like a collaborative workshop: we figure out exactly what is keeping you stuck, look at it with some healthy perspective (and a little laughter), and build a concrete, actionable roadmap to fix it. I heavily utilize Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because you deserve real-world tools that translate to your daily life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will feel less like an awkward interrogation in a sterile clinic and more like a collaborative strategy meeting where we can actually talk like real people. We will ditch the stiff formalities. My goal is to create a space where you can drop the mask, speak unfiltered, and even laugh about the absurdity of life’s stressors. We will handle the necessary background information, but the real focus will be on getting a clear, honest picture of where you are right now and where you want to be.
