Great to meet you!

Hello! I always advise people to choose a therapist that has had a lot of therapy themself. I've had plenty, and this means two things: 1) I have worked extensively on my own challenges, and 2) I know what it's like to be 'on the other side' of the room. I am a very creative person and enjoy helping clients find creative ways to cope with life. I adapt well to different individuals and don't feel I present exactly the same to everyone...the chemistry between two people can never be predicted! I can be very serious or extremely playful, depending on the person and their situation. My awareness of other resources is extensive and I enjoy sharing them, as I never believe that I am the ultimate answer or authority on anything.

My approach to therapy

I always let the client lead with whatever their concerns of the moment are. However, I always keep their particular tendencies and patterns in mind, so that I am poised to help them break them, if this is in their best interest. If I feel a person needs more than just me, I am very aware of other sources of help that I can direct them to.

What you can expect from me

Different people want different things. I try and make sure that each person leaves with something intriguing or useful to ponder.
