Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Jonathan, a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adolescents, young adults, and families facing behavioral and emotional challenges. I take a structured, practical approach to therapy, focusing on real-life skills, communication, and growth. I also value a whole-person approach and can incorporate personal values or faith into the process if that’s important to you. My goal is to create a supportive, honest space where meaningful change can take place.

My approach to therapy

I take a practical, straightforward approach to therapy. We’ll focus on understanding what’s going on, but more importantly, what you can do about it. I use CBT, trauma-informed care, and behavioral strategies to help build skills, improve communication, and create real change. I also work closely with parents to support consistency at home. My goal is to help you leave sessions with something useful you can apply right away.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk through what’s been going on. I’ll ask some questions to understand your situation, and you can share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll also start looking at what might help moving forward, so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and next steps.
