Great to meet you!

I decided to become a therapist as a second career in my late 30’s. I spent the next 10 years earning my bachelors and master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. I graduated in 2014 from California Baptist University and then worked as an associate Marriage and Family Therapist for the next 3 years. It was in December of 2016 when I passed the state licensing exam to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California and I have practiced independently since then. I also became licensed to practice in South Carolina in 2025. I counsel people challenged by depression, anxiety, OCD, addictions, adjustment disorders, personality disorders and relationship issues. I work with individuals and couples from the ages of 18 into late adulthood.

My approach to therapy

Every person is an individual with their own unique set of circumstances and desired outcomes. That is why I consider it a privilege when I am given the opportunity to come alongside an individual who is going through a difficult time.

My approach is to work alongside you in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment offering the support and alternative perspectives to overcome the obstacles you are facing. By combining my professional and practical life experience, you can achieve the personal growth you have been searching for.

What you can expect from me

Initially during our first session we will review ethical and legal guidelines. This is to make sure you are aware of what to expect in the future and for your protection. The remainder of the first session will be for me to get to know you, why you are seeking counseling and what you are expecting from me as your therapist.
