Great to meet you!

I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist based in Los Angeles and love this work. I came to therapy through an unconventional path — nearly a decade in film and photography, work as a youth counselor, and service in the military — all of which deeply shaped how I understand people and their stories.

I earned my master's degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I focused on psychodynamic and depth-oriented approaches. My thesis centered on ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, a specialty I've continued developing through advanced trainings I've completed.

I work with individuals, couples, adolescents & families across a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I have a particular love for working with creative professionals, veterans and young adults. I'm LGBTQ+ affirmative and love working with folks from the queer community.

My practice spans traditional talk therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) — including psychedelic integration support for those processing experiences outside of our work together. I see clients in person in Atwater Village in Northeast LA, and virtually throughout California.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, curiosity-driven, and tailored to who you are as a unique person. I don't believe therapy is something that happens to you — it's something we do together, at your pace, in service of the life you actually want to live.

I draw from psychodynamic and depth-oriented frameworks, which means I'm interested in what's happening beneath the surface — the patterns, the themes, the stories that haven't been fully told yet. One model I particularly love working with is Internal Family Systems (IFS), which helps people develop a compassionate relationship with all the different parts of themselves. Rather than treating any part of you as a problem to be eliminated, IFS helps you understand what each part is carrying and what it needs. I also include cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy in my work and try to help my clients gain skills that can used to deal with the challenges that life presents.

For clients who are open to it, I also integrate music into our work, particularly in ketamine-assisted sessions. Music can reach places that words sometimes can't, and the right piece can help someone feel held, less alone, or more connected to themselves.

When it's a good fit, I offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) as a way to access deeper healing — especially for depression, anxiety, and trauma that feels entrenched. Preparation and integration are central to how I approach KAP; the session itself is just one part of a larger process.

Above all, I believe every person carries an innate capacity for healing. My role is to help you reconnect with that.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know each other. I want to understand what's bringing you to therapy right now, what you've tried before, and what you're hoping for — but I also want you to get a feel for me and how I work, so you can decide if this feels like the right fit.

I try to make the first session feel more like a conversation than a formal intake interview. Yes, we'll cover some practical ground — your history, your current challenges, what you're looking for — but I'm just as interested in how you talk about your life as I am in the details themselves. The way someone tells their story often reveals as much as the story does.

You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. Many people come in knowing only that something isn't working, and that's a perfectly good place to start. I'll help us find a direction together.

By the end of our first session, you should have a sense of what working with me feels like and some early thoughts on what our work together might focus on. If it feels like a good fit, we'll talk about next steps and how often to meet.
