Jonathan Lewis

I've worked with a large variety of populations and have experience treating Depression, Bipolar, Anxiety, PTSD, & Trauma. Licensed as a social worker since 1999, I hold a MSW from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I received my post MSW education at The Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago with training and supervision in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. A veteran with the USPHS Commissioned Corps, I served with the US Navy and Indian Health Service.

My therapeutic approach is warm, open, inquisitive, challenging, and oriented towards supportive solutions and insightful connections that assist patients in making better decisions and living life in a more meaningful and productive manner. My practice is focused on treating adults and many of my patients are therapists, nurses, physicians, teachers, and other helping professionals.

Issues like depression, grief, trauma, and other problems can often feel insurmountable and impossible to overcome. We take on these issues collaboratively within a dynamic and supportive relationship where you're not doing it alone. My online format allows flexible online scheduling including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. I'm excited to respond to inquiries and assist you in coordinating a treatment plan that works for you.
