Great to meet you!

Jonathan Marmo is a patient-centered therapist that takes your needs each session into account. His expertise is working with LGBTQIA+ folks, couples counseling, substance use/management, and younger folks with virtual play therapy. He has been practicing for the past five years in community health clinic settings with folks ages 7-80 years old.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy sessions should be low pressure, high rewards. After we speak, there should be an increased feeling of relief or calm. You may feel nervous about speaking with a therapist or a new person in general, but please allow me to help break the ice and guide you along each session so that you don't have to do the work to unpack your mind with me. As a therapist and human, I am curious and knowledge seeking. I like getting to know individuals both professionally and personally and I take pride in my ability to get to know others.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel heard from their first session with me. My goal in our first session is to get a better understanding of you, and I do that by asking just as many follow-up questions as you will allow in our time together.
