Great to meet you!

My commitment to you as your therapist is to help promote a feeling of autonomy, relatedness and competence to where you can live life more freely with meaning and purpose. I have a career experience in a variety of professional therapy work-related duties and environments, tele-health, inpatient / outpatient atmospheres, and a variation of other different professional roles of counseling positions over the past 30 years.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is strength-based, trauma informed and person-centered. My approach to therapy is based on the theory of person-centered therapy. The therapy services I provide are interpersonal and collaborative. In my practice, I enjoy working with my individuals to assist them in exploring alternative solutions to the issues and concerns that have been causing them problems and distress. I believe it is most important that clients feel comfortable, safe, and confident in our work together. I work from a place of respect and compassion and believe that real life transformation happens when we place true value on our life experiences and have the perspective lens in which we can see and understand ourselves, and the world we live in.

What you can expect from me

The first session will focus on you sharing a part of your life's narrative that has lead you seek out therapy services, and to accomplish the goals and objectives that you want to achieve. I work well with individuals who feel disconnected in their own emotional, behavioral, spiritual, and relational patterns, being hopeful that their path towards personal growth, change, self-awareness and increased well-being to explore parts of themselves they are not aware of, so they can move forward in having improved interpersonal and emotional functioning.
