Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Jonathan, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) specializing in Psychoanalytic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have a decade of experience helping individuals and couples overcome anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. I am dedicated to assisting clients in gaining self-awareness, understanding thoughts and emotions, and developing practical skills to overcome challenges.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach merges Psychoanalytic concepts with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy methodologies, to assist clients by unearthing hidden patterns, reframe negative thought processes, and cultivate practical coping mechanisms. I understand the unique challenges many may face which is why I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for each client.

What you can expect from our first session

During our sessions, our primary focus will be on identifying your goals, exploring your strengths, and building on what is currently working well in your life. Psychoanalytic theory will guide our discussions, by examining your unconscious thoughts and desires. We will integrate CBT techniques to address any negative or unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that may be contributing to your challenges. Together, we will develop practical strategies to challenge and change these patterns.
