Great to meet you!
I've spent my therapy career working with people in the juvenile and adult justice systems, doing crisis intervention work, and supervising other therapists working with military members and their families.

I've spent my therapy career working with people in the juvenile and adult justice systems, doing crisis intervention work, and supervising other therapists working with military members and their families.
My core work with clients is anchored in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with solution-focused, strengths-based, and client-centered counseling informing our sessions. These approaches involve readily-personalized strategies. I find that a bit of humor can help to broach difficult subjects, and reframe/put things in perspective.
I take a highly supportive approach to my interactions with clients, but one that will also involve challenges. I work with you to identify what's at the root of the issues you are facing and feeling, what situational factors may currently be exacerbating the problem, and the elements that are within your power to change. Together we'll identify and interrupt problematic thought patterns and implement strategies for improving your day-to-day well-being.
