Great to meet you!

You may feel like there’s a lot going on inside of you, thoughts, emotions, or reactions that feel overwhelming or hard to make sense of. You might notice anxiety, a critical voice, or parts of you that shut down, avoid, or fall into patterns you don’t feel good about. Even when a part of you wants things to change, you can find yourself pulled back into the same cycles, whether that’s internally or in your relationships. Many of the people I work with snese something isn’t working, but feel stuck and unsure how to move forward.

I work with adults, couples, and teens who feel overwhelmed internally or stuck in patterns connected to anxiety, trauma, or relationship stress.

My approach is relational and experiential, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and experiential therapy. Rather than focusing only on symptom relief or coping strategies, we slow things down and begin to understand what is happening inside of you.

Over time, you begin to relate to your thoughts, emotions, and internal experiences differently. As that relationship changes, the patterns that once felt stuck can begin to shift.

I have experience working in both private practice and county mental health settings, which has shaped the way I hold both deeper emotional work and the practical realities of everyday life.

Outside of therapy, I value presence, growth, and balance. You’ll often find me outdoors skiing, trail running, watching a great film, perfecting a cappuccino, or spending time with my wife.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, experiential, and client-centered. I believe meaningful change happens through safety, trust, and connection.

Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, we explore the emotional patterns and experiences that shape how you relate to yourself and others. Therapy is collaborative, and we move at a pace that feels manageable and meaningful to you.

Some sessions focus on deeper emotional work, while others support integrating that work into your daily life. The goal is to help you develop greater clarity, self-understanding, and confidence in how you move through life.

For clients who value Christianity, I can thoughtfully integrate faith into therapy when desired. I also work in a way that respects your personal values, background, and autonomy.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a warm introduction and a chance for us to connect. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and understood as we begin to explore what brings you in.

We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what feels most important right now, and what you hope might feel different. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting.
