Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Jonathan Vega. As a licensed, bilingual therapist, I provide a safe and supportive environment to meet client needs and address mental health barriers. My goal is to help clients develop skills such as emotional regulation and resilience. By employing a trauma-informed approach, I help clients become more comfortable and confident when facing challenges. I am dedicated to helping my clients recognize their strengths in order to sustain the energy and effort required to thrive each day.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy centers on meeting clients where they are, while fostering a warm, collaborative relationship built on genuine connection. I focus on helping adolescents and young adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, and emotional stress, tailoring strategies to each person’s strengths and needs.

My style blends evidence-based techniques with practical coping tools to build resilience and confidence. I aim to empower clients to recognize their inner strengths and overcome obstacles at their own pace.

What you can expect from me

You can expect the first session to focus on getting to know one another and building a clear understanding of what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, background, and goals, while also giving you space to share at your own pace. We’ll begin identifying areas you’d like to work on and discuss what support might look like moving forward. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, comfortable, and with a clearer sense of direction.
