Great to meet you!

I have had many life and counseling experiences. I worked in schools for forty-five years, counseling PK through 12 grade, mainly as the counselor for the Disciplinary Alternative Program. I am certified as a behavioral insights analyst with Rhino Insights, Inc., and a neuroeducational specialist with A Brilliant Foundation, using brain-based concepts to heal emotions. I love working at Better Self Counseling in The Woodlands, Texas, where I enjoy working with many ages and life situations.

My approach to therapy

I am a solution-focused Cognitive Behavior Therapist. I teach how the brain is wired, how our personality influences our behaviors, and how to manage energies, emotions, and expectations. Our starting point is what is right about you and you can build on your strengths.

What you can expect from me

By understanding your thoughts, learning how to control your emotions, and appreciating what is right about you, we look at where you have been, where you are now, and where you want to go. We are future-focused and design the best paths to reach your goals.
