Great to meet you!

Immigrated to US when I was 12yo and through the process of adapting to new culture in a new life allowed me to discover my inclination to help others. I have spent more than a decade working with underserved communities in both individual and family settings to help meet the needs of their well being. I enjoy working with adults and older adults relating to challenges of anxiety, depressed mood, relationship conflicts and life transitions, including older person issues.

My approach to therapy

I believe each person's challenges are unique and find it helpful using person centered and strength based approaches and working collaboratively with clients to explore their concerns and opportunities for positive change. I am also an avid advocate for body and mind wellness and incorporate these elements in my practice.

What you can expect from me

Coming from an immigrant background and having worked with intersections of various communities, I aim to provide a culturally sensitive, empathic and accepting space for my clients. I value the connection between client and therapist and believe such connection is essential for us to do meaningful work together. You will feel heard and supported. Together we can gain insights about your challenges and move closer to resolutions and start feeling better.
