Great to meet you!

After working for several years in hospice care, I wanted to offer more personalized support to individuals navigating a grief journey. But not only. I also focus on helping people navigate Depression and Anxiety, along with other challenging Life Transitions, whether related to a grief journey or not. Allowing people to process thoughts and emotions and sharing helping coping strategies to gently guide them to a sense of improvement, this is what I strive to help accomplish.

My approach to therapy

I meet people where they are. I rely on clients to share their goals and how they believe therapy can be beneficial. I lean on Mindfulness practices and also integrate CBT and DBT modalities as effective therapeutic tools. Listening without judgment and validating emotions are also pieces of the therapeutic relationship I aim to foster with clients.

What you can expect from me

I like to share concrete coping strategies with clients and ask that they be practiced in between sessions. It is not uncommon for me to offer a guided mindfulness practice during a session, a modality I have benefited from personally and believe in its ability to drive change. I hope clients will also take away a sense of validation, a feeling of being heard, and the hope that change can occur.
