Joni Weinstock, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist. She has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus and a M.Ed. from Lesley College Graduate School in the Expressive Arts Therapies with a concentration in Movement Therapy. She has worked full time over 20 years as a Senior Psychologist at the Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry and has also been in private practice since 1997.

Dr. Weinstock's integrative approach to psychotherapy allows for flexibility to work together in a compassionate and collaborative manner to explore and address your needs and goals. She has an interactive and theoretically eclectic approach utilizing insight-oriented theory, mindfulness, and goal directed evidence-based interventions.

What you can expect from our first session

Dr. Weinstock has experience providing short + long-term individual and family therapies with adolescents, adults, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress related disorders. Some of the areas she specializes in are marital therapy, parenting concerns, families contemplating or going through divorce, bereavement and loss, LGBT challenges, and young adults transitioning to college and those facing the challenges of careers and employment after their education.
