Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Jordan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work from Utah Valley University. I worked in substance use disorder residential treatment for 10 years, 5 of those years as a therapist. In that setting, I worked with individuals affected by addiction and well as their partners and families. I also worked extensively with co-occurring disorders such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity issues. I also have experience with LGBTQIA+ individuals.

My approach to therapy

A guiding principle of my therapy practice is the belief that each person I work with has the capacity to overcome the challenges they are facing. Sometimes those challenges arise from current life transitions; other times they may be rooted in past experiences or concerns about what lies ahead. Whatever you may be navigating, I believe you already possess the strength and resilience needed to move forward. Sometimes, you just need help uncovering it.

What you can expect from me

I know firsthand what it feels like to doubt your own ability. Because of that, I strive to create a space that is safe, supportive, and free from judgment. Within that space, I hope you can courageously connect with your authentic self and build confidence in your capacity to thrive. My role in your healing journey is to meet you where you are, listen deeply, honor your experiences, and offer perspective or practical tools.

In a first session, I will seek to understand you, your story, and your goals for therapy.
