Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with graduate training from Georgia State University and Tulane University. I provide therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to change. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Gestalt principles. I work collaboratively with clients to build practical coping skills while also increasing insight into the underlying patterns that shape their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I strive to create a space that is supportive, nonjudgmental, and engaging: where you can explore challenges openly and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and insight-oriented. I work alongside clients to understand both what’s happening in the present and the deeper patterns that may be shaping their experiences. I integrate techniques from CBT and DBT to help clients build concrete skills for managing emotions, thoughts, and stress, while also drawing on Gestalt principles to increase awareness of how they relate to themselves and others in the moment.

In our work together, I may gently challenge unhelpful patterns while also providing support and structure. Sessions are tailored to your needs, whether that means focusing on immediate coping strategies, exploring underlying themes, or working toward longer-term personal growth.

Overall, I aim to create a space that is engaged, grounded, and responsive, where you feel both supported and encouraged to make meaningful changes.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. We’ll spend some time going over your background, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

In addition to getting to know you, we’ll begin identifying areas where you may be feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and I’ll introduce a few practical coping tools you can start using right away. My aim is for you to leave the first session not only feeling supported, but also with something tangible to help you manage between sessions.

Overall, you can expect a welcoming, collaborative space where we begin building a foundation for meaningful and effective work together.
