I am a Harvard-trained clinical psychologist who completed his PsyD at Roberts Wesleyan University in 2024. After graduating with my doctorate I went on to train in psychodynamic psychotherapy at Cambridge Health Alliance's Program for Psychotherapy and Harvard Medical School. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, internal conflicts, and social & relational concerns like transgender and LGBTQIA+ issues.
Therapy with me is about coming into contact with your whole self and learning to accept yourself unconditionally. Maybe you find yourself feeling panicky about a job interview, afraid that you'll mess something up and feel humiliated. Or, maybe you feel very depressed because you feel overmatched by life and unable to solve your problems. It may be that the solution isn't to "fix" you, but to really get to know you and develop a sense that you are a person of value no matter what happens.
My therapeutic approach involves empathetically exploring the patient's experiences and helping them to build a new, more comprehensive narrative of their own lives. I also works to help the patient to feel comfortable enough to embrace the parts of themselves they are uncomfortable with, letting go of some of their painful self-perceptions.
