My name is Jordan Ivey and I am licensed clinical social worker. I have experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds through my work at two Colorado community mental health centers. I am also an experienced crisis clinician, helping clients through acute stressors such as chronic suicidality. I have a Masters of Social Work from the University of Denver and training in a various therapeutic modalities. I currently work with clients ages 16+.

My approach to therapy

I believe YOU are the expert of your healing journey and that my role as your therapist is to collaborate with you to help you align with your goals. I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable sharing your authentic self without fear of judgment. I use a variety of approaches in my practice, but I specifically enjoy utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you along your path to growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

We will work collaboratively to create a treatment plan that aligns with your therapeutic goals. This may include self-guided weekly assignments to enhance our work in sessions. Ultimately, my goal is to make you feel as comfortable and engaged with the therapeutic process as possible to alleviate your symptoms and help you thrive. I will seek frequent feedback from you throughout our work together to assure that your treatment is meeting your expectations.
