Jordan Keener

Hi, my name is Jordan Keener and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides treatment to adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Georgia. Typically I work with clients with a variation of presenting issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and family conflict, life stress, etc. My goal is to help empower others through providing grace during hard moments in life.

Depending on the unique differences between clients, I integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative therapy to my Person-Centered Approach to help the client gain insights toward healing.

During our first session, my goal is to help us find a connection that will allow for a strong therapeutic rapport. I try to keep the clinical process interesting, while also gather the information needed for our counseling process together.
