Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience helping people work through anxiety, trauma, depression, and major life transitions. I came to this work after doing emergency development work overseas and being denied entry to the military because of a chronic health condition—an unexpected detour that shaped how seriously I take service, resilience, and purpose. Today, I manage a clinical team supporting homeless veterans during the day and see clients nights and weekends, which keeps me grounded in real‐world systems, barriers, and solutions. My work combines lived perspective, leadership experience, and a warm, collaborative style—so you get both empathy and clear, practical support.

My approach to therapy

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Some days, therapy might look like unpacking deeper patterns from the past; other days, it might focus on practical tools for what’s happening right now. I adapt based on your needs, offering a flexible and thoughtful mix of reflection, structure, and support.

What you can expect from me

We’ll jump right in. While I’ll gather some basic background to understand your story, the focus will be on starting the real work - identifying what’s bringing you in and what you want to get out of therapy. My goal is for you to leave that first session already feeling some clarity, direction, and momentum, not just paperwork or intake questions.
