Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should feel like a collaborative conversation where you feel heard, respected, and supported. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University at Buffalo and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York. For the past several years, I've worked as a therapist providing brief counseling, crisis intervention, and workshops for individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, workplace challenges, life transitions, and other emotional difficulties.

I work with adults and couples, and I have a particular interest in helping people improve communication, strengthen relationships, manage anxiety and depression, navigate occupational stress and burnout, and build confidence during periods of change. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by a current situation or looking to create lasting positive change, my goal is to provide a supportive, practical, and nonjudgmental space where we can work together toward what matters most to you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and goal-oriented. I primarily use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), helping clients identify what's already working, build on their existing strengths, and take meaningful steps toward the future they want. Rather than focusing only on problems, we spend time exploring solutions, exceptions, and practical strategies that fit your life.

I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Couples Therapy when appropriate. Every person and relationship is different, so I tailor treatment to your unique needs, values, and goals. My aim is to balance compassionate support with practical tools, helping you leave sessions with greater clarity, confidence, and a sense of direction.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We'll spend time discussing what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, what you've already tried, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together.

You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions about my approach and make sure we're a good fit. Before the session ends, we'll begin identifying meaningful goals and discuss what therapy may look like moving forward. My hope is that you'll leave the first appointment feeling understood, supported, and with a clearer sense of the path ahead.
