Great to meet you!

Welcome! The goal of my practice is to help you feel more in control of your emotions, your decisions and your life. I aim to make the therapeutic space a space for self-compassion, insight and personal growth. After graduating from St. John Fisher College with my Masters in Mental Health Counseling, I was equipped with the knowledge and skills to go forth on my mission to help others. I also received my certification as an Integrative Health Coach which supports a whole-body approach in my practice. I specialize in working with young adults and adults in a variety of struggles such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationships, self-esteem, OCD and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I tend to use an eclectic approach during sessions combining several different evidence-based models of therapy such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and others. Pointing out areas of growth, identifying discrepancies and creating supportive action plans are also part of treatment. A big part of my practice is ending sessions with intentions that support change outside of sessions.

What you can expect from me

Building the therapeutic relationship and learning about each other creates the foundation for your therapy journey. The first session focuses on meeting you, as the client, where you are at. Understanding what your struggles have been and skills you have learned. Building rapport, safety and trust are initial first steps. Identifying goals and strategies come after. Together we discover an individualized approach to supporting you.
