Great to meet you!

I am a Jungian and expressive therapist that believes in moving beyond coping and working toward healing. I use a whole-brain approach and work with clients who are interested in integrating dream work, sandplay, and art into therapy. I am a trauma-informed therapist who values our need to honor and explore deeper life questions through depth therapy. Visit APlaceWithinCounseoing.com to get a more clear sense of who I am and how I work.

My approach to therapy

At the core of my work I am a trauma focused clinician who works in depth therapy. My approach is Jungian, holistic, humanistic, and existential, meaning I believe that people mean well and strive towards the good in life. It also means I find value in our need to honor and explore deeper life questions regarding the meaning and purpose of our lives.

What you can expect from me

My therapy style is supportive yet interactive. Furthermore I work from a whole brain perspective. Although trained in traditional talk therapy, I also focus on creative therapies that integrate the mind, body, and spirit. I am in the process of relocating my practice to the Sycamore and DeKalb area, in the meantime I am currently providing telehealth therapy to clients in Illinois.
