Great to meet you!

My work has always focused on finding ways to support women in the spaces that are so often overlooked. I began my counseling career in the substance abuse field in 2013. I walked alongside many women through early recovery, witnessing how unaddressed trauma often created the heaviest hurdles to lasting peace. This led me to redirect my career to trauma treatment, becoming fully certified in EMDR and extensively trained in attachment based trauma and Internal Family Systems (IFS). My mission became even more personal following my own experience with perinatal trauma; I saw firsthand the profound need for specialized support during these vulnerable transitions. Now holding a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C), I am deeply honored to offer a soft place to land for those navigating childhood wounds, relational trauma, or the complexities of motherhood. Using a gentle integration of EMDR, IFS, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, I am here to help you quiet the noise and find your steady ground again. You don’t have to carry these burdens alone—we will walk this path together.

My approach to therapy

I offer a nonjudgmental, warm, and safe space for clients to better understand themselves. I utilize primarily EMDR, IFS, relational therapy, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to help client's recognize current presenting "problems" as adaptations to past environmental/relational challenges. We will explore where these symptoms come from, as well as ways to

What you can expect from me

Our first session together will be primarily focused on making sure we're the right fit for each other. I will ask you several questions to better understand your presenting problem, background, and other potential influences to your current presenting problems. We will also go through your goals for therapy and I will share a bit about my approach and how I might be able to help you reach those goals. At the end of our first session I will check to see if you feel comfortable working with me, and if you do, we will set up our next appointment!
