Great to meet you!

I believe that meaningful mental health care starts with trust, compassion, and genuine connection. Over the past 15 years, I have worked across a variety of healthcare settings, including trauma nursing, emergency nursing, and nurse leadership roles, caring for individuals and families during some of life's most challenging moments. These experiences have reinforced my belief that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, empathy, and respect.

My commitment to mental health care is also shaped by personal experience. Like many people, I have witnessed the impact of mental health challenges in my own life and among loved ones, which has deepened my understanding of the courage it takes to seek help. I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where clients feel comfortable discussing difficult thoughts, emotions, and life experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach to treatment is collaborative, individualized, and thoughtful. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to mental health care. When medication is part of treatment, I take a conservative and personalized approach, carefully considering each person's unique circumstances, goals, and preferences. Together, we will explore options, weigh risks and benefits, and develop a treatment plan that feels right for you. I value authenticity, curiosity, and meeting people where they are while helping them build on their strengths. Life can feel overwhelming, and seeking support is a courageous first step. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, co-occurring substance abuse/addiction, and life transitions. I strive to create a calm, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward greater balance and well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll take time to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to treatment. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, and goals so I can develop a thorough understanding of your needs. Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan and discuss potential options, including medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, or other supportive interventions. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path forward.
