Great to meet you!

Healing can feel complicated when you’ve spent so much of your life feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, unseen, or disconnected from yourself. Therapy should be a space where you do not have to shrink, perform, or explain every part of who you are in order to feel supported.

I work with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, identity exploration, burnout, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My goal is to create a space that feels affirming, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection.

As a queer Christian, BIPOC clinician and survivor of trauma, sexual assault, suicidality, and significant life adversity, I understand how complex healing can become when identity, faith, culture, and lived experience intersect. I bring both clinical knowledge and lived experience into the therapy space with empathy, honesty, compassion, and authenticity.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, person-centered, and rooted in authenticity and connection. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), humanistic approaches, mindfulness, emotional processing, and creative expression techniques such as journaling, music, and art-based reflection.

I work collaboratively with clients to explore patterns, process emotions, strengthen coping skills, and build greater self-understanding. I strive to help clients feel more grounded, empowered, and aligned with who they truly are rather than who they feel pressured to be.

I approach therapy through a trauma-informed and affirming lens, recognizing the impact that life experiences, systems, relationships, culture, identity, and faith can have on emotional well-being and healing.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll spend time talking about what brought you to therapy, what support looks like for you, and what goals or concerns you would like to focus on. You do not need to have the “right” words or a complete plan before starting.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, current challenges, strengths, and needs while also giving you space to share at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to help you feel heard, respected, and supported as we begin building a therapeutic relationship together.

Therapy is not about perfection. It is about creating space for honesty, growth, healing, and self-discovery.
