Great to meet you!

Clients often tell me they feel comfortable and at ease with me right away. I bring kindness, warmth, and a genuine curiosity to our work together. I’m also known for my sense of humor, which I believe can be a powerful tool in therapy when used thoughtfully.

In our sessions, you can expect a balance of insight, support, and practical tools. I work collaboratively and tailor my approach to what works best for you. My goal is to help you feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I’m an experienced therapist with a strong background in community mental health, which has given me a deep appreciation for the complexities of people’s lives and the resilience they bring to therapy. I specialize in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and I’m well-versed in evidence-based approaches such as ERP and CBT therapy to help clients navigate intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and the challenges that come with this condition. Other preferred modalities of treatment that I utilize in sessions are person-centered, CBT, and psychodynamic therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools to manage what they’re facing. Whether we’re working on breaking the cycle of OCD, navigating a tough life transition, or exploring deeper patterns of thought, I aim to create a space where insight leads to meaningful change.

You’ll gain a clearer understanding of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—and how they interact. Together, we’ll work to build your confidence, increase self-compassion, and develop strategies that help you feel more in control of your life. While therapy can be serious work, I also believe in bringing in moments of humor and lightness where it fits. Growth doesn’t always have to be heavy.

Ultimately, I want you to walk away from our work feeling empowered, more connected to yourself, and better equipped to handle whatever comes next.
