I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Integrative Neuroscience at Binghamton University and my Master's Degree in Social Work at Fordham University. I have experience working in the medical setting, both inpatient and outpatient, mental health and substance abuse/addiction issues, crisis intervention, and case management services. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families.
It's important for my clients to know that the therapy process is unique to each individual. I can ensure my clients that when you meet with me, you and I will be discussing your goals and reasons for treatments where I can then individualize your therapeutic process. I emphasize my work on motivational interviewing, which will help you acknowledge and highlight your strengths and values, and I also work to empower you to be the best version of yourself.
Creating a safe space for you with me is my primary goal in building a healthy, therapeutic relationship together. Building a great foundation will allow us to work together throughout your healing process. Therapy is not one specific action, it is a process and I will serve as a guide for you while I empower you to reach your goals.
