Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina, and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor for California as well. I have been working as a therapist with individuals and groups since 2014. Things can feel overwhelming at times, and I’d like to help you lift the weight of life’s struggles. Change can be difficult; however, so is staying in the same place.

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship issues, OCD, and ADHD.

My approach to therapy

My preferred therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and related evidence-based techniques. My counseling style is one of acceptance, genuineness, and positive regard. I aim to empower you to work through challenging situations with fortitude and resilience.

What you can expect from me

I think it's important to have a strong foundation of positive coping skills. It can also be helpful to have a thought partner outside your personal circle, or someone to be a non-judgmental listening ear. I tend to take a practical approach, considering what steps we can take now to make your life better.

It takes courage to seek a happier, more fulfilling life and make the first steps toward change. I look forward to meeting you, and to providing guidance and support on your journey of balance and healing.
