Great to meet you!

If you’ve ever felt like you’re "too much" or "not enough," I want you to know: you aren't broken.

I’m Jordee Yanez (he/him/él), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping you find your way back to yourself. As a TransQueer, bilingual, military Veteran, I specialize in supporting individuals who frequently navigate life without a "standard" roadmap. My ideal clients are those who often feel like they are living between worlds, reclaiming their identity, or performing to meet everyone else’s expectations. Whether you are navigating the cultural complexities of the immigrant experience, transitioning out of the military, or redefining your place in the world, I offer a space where you don’t have to justify your existence. Most people reach out to me when the gap between who they truly are and how they are living becomes too wide to ignore. I am here to help you bridge that gap and reclaim your story.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in "cold," clinical therapy. I believe in genuine human connection, deep empathy, and moving at the speed of your comfort. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to offer a steady hand and a safe place to land. Whether you are processing a history that feels heavy or navigating a future that feels completely uncertain, we will work through it together. You don’t have to have all the answers right now—you just have to show up exactly as you are. Primary Specialties

  • Identity & Cultural Transitions: Navigating the unique, complex experiences of immigrants, first-generation individuals, and cultural crossroads.
  • Veterans & Military Service: Tailored support for active-duty personnel and veterans transitioning to civilian life or processing service-related trauma.
  • LGBTQ+ & Transgender Affirming Care: Deeply understanding care for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals navigating identity, coming out, and self-esteem.

What you can expect from me

I believe successful therapy starts with a strong partnership. In our first session, you will have the floor to share your experiences and what you hope to gain from our time together. My primary goal is to provide a warm, secure, and non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable being entirely yourself. Together, we will clarify your vision for growth and design a collaborative path forward to help you achieve those milestones.
