Great to meet you!

I earned my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, I am an HBCU graduate with a

B.S in Psychology from Tennessee State University. I had an early educational focus in neuroscience and completed several research internships at both Princeton and Vanderbilt Universities.

I have worked in several outpatient and school settings, with a variety of clients. My clinical experience has included working with children adolescents and adults, providing services to those in the juvenile justice system, clients exposed to trauma, clients struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, and a variety of other presenting issues.

My approach to therapy

Life can feel overwhelming at times, and support can make a meaningful difference. I support clients managing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship stress, self-esteem concerns, postpartum and women’s issues, ADHD, and adolescent needs. I strive to foster an encouraging and inclusive environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to express themselves authentically.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive and empowering therapeutic experience grounded in trust and collaboration. I take a direct approach once a strong therapeutic relationship and rapport have been established, thoughtfully challenging clients in ways that promote growth and self-awareness. My style is laid-back and non-traditional, creating a space that feels relaxed, conversational, and non-intimidating, while still being informed by evidence-based interventions and years of experience working with diverse diagnoses, populations, and life challenges.
