Dr. Jorge Asturias

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in individual, couples, and family psychotherapy, in private practice in Riverside County, California.

With 20 years of experience as a clinician, I specialize in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, an exploratory, in-depth approach to healing trauma, addressing personal and interpersonal deficiencies, and promoting change. I also have experience in the field of Forensic Psychology, being a Law-Enforcement Officer and Psychologist for the DOJ.

My treatment approach is to provide support and feedback to help clients resolve current problems and identify long-standing patterns. I incorporate a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, including the nexus between psychology and spirituality, drawing upon a variety of techniques to implement a style that will be most helpful for each client.

I aim to work with sensitivity and compassion to help clients build on their strengths, overcome self-defeating patterns, and identify and achieve life goals.
