Great to meet you!

Dr. Corona is a board-certified psychiatrist who earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio School of Medicine. He then completed his Adult Psychiatry Residency training at UT Health San Antonio. He has extensive experience treating diverse patient populations in various clinical settings.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Corona integrates medication management with therapeutic techniques and collaborates with therapists as needed to create individualized treatment plans. He is transparent in his thought process, ensuring that patients are actively involved in shaping their care. His treatment approach focuses on clarifying diagnoses and optimizing treatment modalities, considering both pharmacological and therapeutic interventions. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, stress management, life transitions, strained relationships, trauma-related conditions, and other psychiatric challenges.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. I take time to learn about your concerns, your history, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. We will work together to clarify your symptoms, discuss any previous experiences with therapy or medications, and identify the most important goals for your care.

I explain my thought process openly so that you’re an active partner in every decision we make. By the end of the first visit, you can expect to have a clearer sense of your diagnosis, initial treatment options, and next steps—whether that includes medication management, therapy collaboration, lifestyle adjustments, or a combination of approaches. My priority is to ensure you leave feeling supported, informed, and hopeful about your path forward.
