Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m a LCSW with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California, and I am licensed in Ohio, Illinois, Alabama, Texas and Virginia. I work with couples and adults of all ages and my clients have come from all walks of life. Additionally, as both a military child and military spouse, I have an understanding of the emotional impact of military life, including deployment stress, frequent transitions, role strain, uncertainty, and the pressure of staying strong for others. That perspective helps me support military families, veterans, and loved ones who may be carrying stress that others do not always see.

Many of the clients I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, stress management, relationship issues, family issues, and major life transitions. Some come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in unhealthy patterns, or unsure how to bring about change. I focus on working collaboratively with my clients to find the path forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest about what is hurting, what feels heavy, and what you want to be different. I meet clients where they are and help them build on their strengths while also developing practical tools for real life. Whether you are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, stress management, relationship issues, or family issues, my goal is to help you better understand your patterns, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.

Because of my background in client assessment I also understand how overwhelming systems can feel when you are already struggling emotionally. I bring both clinical insight and real-world practicality to therapy, helping clients make sense of what they are experiencing while building clarity, confidence, and emotional stability. I am also passionate about mentoring future social workers, and that commitment to growth, learning, and service shapes the way I show up for my clients.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, grounded space where we begin getting to know one another and talking about what brought you to therapy. We will explore your current concerns, whether that includes anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, stress management, relationship issues, family issues, or a difficult life transition. I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand your history, what feels most important right now, and what you hope will be different moving forward.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, respected, and a little less alone in whatever you are carrying. Together, we will begin identifying goals and shaping a path forward that feels realistic, personalized, and aligned with your needs. Therapy does not require you to have everything figured out before you begin - it simply asks that you show up as you are, and we take it from there.
