Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Jose A. Santos, LCSW/Psychotherapist. Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I have nine years of experience providing telehealth psychotherapy at The Jewish Board, and I currently also provide psychotherapy via telehealth with Valera Health. I work with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, inattention, and anger-related challenges. Many of my clients feel stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. Together, we work to understand how past experiences — especially traumatic ones — may be shaping current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I incorporate psychoeducation to help you understand how your mind and body respond to stress, and we’ll develop practical tools you can use in everyday life. I believe therapy should not only provide insight, but also real strategies that empower you to feel more in control and confident. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and safe to explore your experiences at your own pace. My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, rebuild self-trust, and move toward greater independence and emotional balance. I currently offer evening appointments and would be honored to support you on your journey.
