Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual English-Spanish Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner providing telehealth care across California. I have been working in healthcare since 2012 and have experience in psychiatry, addiction medicine, family medicine, urgent care, and detox and residential treatment programs.

My approach is compassionate, thoughtful, and insight-oriented. I take time to understand the deeper patterns behind what you’re experiencing, not just the symptoms. Many clients appreciate having a provider who listens carefully, helps them make sense of their experiences, and supports them in developing meaningful and lasting change.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, and substance use concerns. As a Latino provider and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I strive to create a welcoming and affirming environment where clients feel safe discussing their concerns.

My goal is to help you better understand what you're experiencing and work together to build a clear path toward greater stability, balance, and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, integrative, and centered on the whole person. Mental health is influenced by many factors including lifestyle, stress, sleep, physical health, and life experiences, and I believe treatment should consider all of these areas.

I take a thoughtful and conservative approach to medication. When possible, I prioritize lifestyle changes, behavioral strategies, and supplements, while using medications when they are truly needed. I also support medication optimization and safe tapering when appropriate.

During treatment I integrate medication management with supportive psychotherapy approaches including cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness techniques, and motivational interviewing. My goal is to help you gain insight into your experiences while building practical tools that improve daily functioning and long-term emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

During the first session we will spend time discussing your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, and goals for treatment. I will ask questions about areas such as mood, anxiety, sleep, stress, lifestyle, and any previous treatments you may have tried.

Together we will review possible diagnoses and discuss treatment options. This may include medication management, lifestyle strategies, therapy recommendations, or additional evaluations such as ADHD assessments.

My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and with a clear understanding of the next steps in your care.
