Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with Spanish as my first language, providing therapy to adults in both Spanish and English. I hold a Master of Social Work, a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and international professional certification in Life & Business Coaching, with a professional background in behavioral health, psychosocial rehabilitation, hospice and palliative care, psychosocial assessment, and counseling. I often work with adults navigating grief and loss, caregiver stress, anxiety, chronic or life-limiting illness, adjustment concerns, and major life transitions. My style is warm, practical, and culturally responsive, helping clients feel understood while building on their strengths and finding meaningful, realistic ways forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy starts with meeting you where you are, not where you think you should be. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Together, we identify what may be getting in the way, build practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful changes that align with your values and goals. I bring a strengths-based and culturally responsive perspective, creating a collaborative space where you can feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your own process of change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and understand what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what feels most important right now, and what you would like to change or understand better. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and the areas we may want to focus on moving forward. By the end of that first session, we will have a clearer sense of what to focus on and how to move forward together. My aim is that you leave feeling genuinely heard, and with at least a small sense of what is possible.
