Great to meet you!

I became a psychiatric nurse practitioner because I've seen mental health care from multiple angles, and honestly, most of it is broken. 15-minute med checks where nobody listens? People told to "just try harder"? I wanted to do something different.

My background: 5 years as an EMT in LA, COVID ICU nurse, ER nurse at LAC+USC during the second wave, then charge nurse in inpatient psych. I'm board-certified (PMHNP-BC) with my MSN. I also trained under Dr. Marta Cola in advanced approaches for treatment-resistant conditions. Those years taught me what burnout, trauma, and compassion fatigue actually look like in real life.

I work with people dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and burnout. If you're a first responder, healthcare worker, or anyone who's spent so much time caring for others that you've forgotten about yourself, I get it. I've been there. I also work with the Latino community and offer fully bilingual services (English and Spanish).

My approach to therapy

My approach: we start where you are. No judgment, no pressure to have everything figured out, no cookie-cutter plans. I blend mindfulness therapy with CBT and DBT tools, adjusted to what works for YOU. Some people need medication, some need therapy, some need both; we will figure it out together.

I offer therapy and medication management in the same sessions, so you're not juggling multiple providers or copays. Everything is telehealth from your couch, your car, wherever you're comfortable. I have evening and weekend availability because 9 to 5 doesn't work for everyone.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to be "ready" to start. Nobody is. Just show up, messy, overwhelmed, tired, wherever you are, and we'll figure out the rest together. If therapy hasn't worked before, if meds haven't helped, or if this is your first time reaching out, that's okay. Let's talk about what might actually help.

No BS. No judgment. Just real one-on-one tailored care.
