Great to meet you!

Have you ever wondered what makes for a fulfilling life? I believe it can be condensed down to two things–mental well-being & relational satisfaction. If our mind is at peace and we have satisfying and rewarding relationships, we tend to feel great! Mental well-being is about living life in accordance with your values. When your values and your actions don’t align, we often see psychological distress. This, along with other stressors can lead to symptoms of anxiety/depression and therapy helps!

My approach to therapy

Therapy is most productive when the client and therapist work together throughout the entire therapy process. We will be like a team, and together we will set goals and work through any barriers, should they come up. I have a particular interest in working with folks from the LGBTQ+ community. I employ a variety of treatment modalities including CBT, ACT, MI, CPT, STAIR, and solution-focused therapy. I've been trained in LGBTQ+ and gender-affirming therapy, and HIV/AIDS counseling.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy can be a scary and sometimes even daunting undertaking. I strive to provide a comfortable and safe space for all of my clients. My goal is to make you feel at ease so that you can discuss whatever is on your mind freely and openly. I take a non-judgmental and welcoming approach to therapy. Because everyone is unique, it’s most effective to draw inspiration from many different therapy approaches to tailor treatment in a way that is right for each individual.
