Great to meet you!

Aside from therapy, I also provide trainings for LA County DMH and teach in the Social Work department at CSULA, my alma mater. My previous work includes behavioral health, school-based therapy, hospice, Regional Center, supported living services, substance abuse, homeless outreach, special ed, construction, demolition, warehouse worker, and welder. I focus on men's issues, grief and loss, trauma, reconnecting with one's identity, and adjusting to major life changes.

My approach to therapy

I believe the patient is the expert in their own lives and I am here to support their journey of self-discovery, growth, and the development of new skills through the therapeutic alliance we develop and the use of clinical interventions. I use strength-based interventions from different modalities that are woven together and tailored to the unique needs and goals of each individual patient.

What you can expect from me

I like to create a safe and validating environment with the goal of allowing the space for patients to share without the fear of judgement. My goal is to assist patients with expressing their thoughts and feelings in healthy manner and engagement in safe coping strategies that will promote growth and healing.
